NatalAid (“NatalAid,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), operated by NatalAid Holdings LLC, provides short-term rental hospitality and related services through natalaid.com (the “Site”) and at short-term rental properties we own or manage (the “Properties”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Information you provide to us — when you submit a booking inquiry or reservation request, join a WiFi or email list, or contact us, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, requested dates, and any message or details you choose to share.
Information we receive from booking platforms — if you book through a third-party channel (such as Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com, or Whimstay), we receive reservation details from that platform — such as your name, contact information, party size, and stay dates — so we can manage your stay.
Information collected automatically — when you visit the Site we may collect device and usage data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and referring links, through cookies and similar technologies.
Information collected at the Properties — for the safety and security of guests and the Properties, exterior areas are monitored by video doorbells and security cameras (entrances, driveways, and other outdoor areas only — never inside the units), keyless smart locks record when entry codes are used, and noise monitors measure sound levels only (they do not record audio or conversations). When you join guest WiFi, we collect the information you submit on the sign-in page and standard device and connection data.
Payment information — payments are processed by our booking platforms and payment processors; we receive booking and transaction confirmations but do not store full payment-card numbers.
How we use information
We use the information to respond to inquiries and manage reservations and stays; provide guest services such as WiFi access, check-in details, and property guides; operate the security and smart-home devices described above; send transactional messages and, where you have consented, occasional marketing emails; operate, secure, and improve the Site and the Properties; and comply with legal obligations.
SMS / text messaging
Our SMS program. NatalAid operates a low-volume, informational text-messaging (SMS) program. Messages are operational: host-operations alerts sent to our own authorized operator — such as new-review notifications, low-guest-feedback alerts, guest service requests, and property system-health events — and, where applicable, reservation- and stay-related notifications to guests who have opted in. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.
What we collect and how we use it. To operate the program we collect the mobile phone number you provide and a record of your consent (the opt-in action, date, and time). We use this information only to send the messages described above and to process opt-out (STOP) and help (HELP) requests. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
How you opt in and out. You opt in by providing your mobile number and enabling SMS alerts — for example, on our internal alert-settings page or during booking and stay communications. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of booking or of using any of our services. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help.
We do not share your mobile information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties, and are excluded from every data-sharing category described in this policy. We use a messaging service provider (such as Twilio) solely to transmit these messages to you; it is not permitted to use your mobile information for its own marketing or promotional purposes.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who perform services for us under contract — for example, reservation and property-management platforms (such as OwnerRez), email delivery and marketing providers (such as Mailchimp), guest-WiFi providers, payment processors, website hosting, and website analytics providers — and when required to comply with law or to protect our rights, or in connection with a business transfer.
SMS/text-messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. The only processing of your mobile number by a messaging provider (such as Twilio) is to transmit the messages you have requested.
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember preferences, and understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect Site functionality. Like most websites, the Site does not respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals.
Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide our services and for legitimate business or legal purposes, after which we delete or de-identify it. Video doorbell and security-camera footage is kept for short rolling periods and reviewed only in connection with a safety or security concern.
Your choices and rights
You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any such email, and opt out of SMS by replying STOP. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information; to exercise these, contact us using the details below. California residents may request information about the categories of personal information we collect and how it is used.
Third-party links
The Site may link to third-party services (such as booking platforms). Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and we are not responsible for them.
Children’s privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent version.
